We Work with You to Determine Which Industrial or Commercial Chiller Best Meets Your Needs

For many businesses, climate control can play a big role in worker performance and operating costs. That’s why at GCB Chillers, we work closely with commercial businesses and manufacturers in a variety of industries to determine which HVAC system will help them meet their business goals. At the end of the day, no one wants to spend time worrying whether their A/C will today. At GCB Chillers, we do the job right, we do it safely and we only have to do it once. That’s just our way of doing business.

We Install & Replace All Types of Chiller & HVAC Systems

Air-Cooled Chillers

Air-cooled chillers use the air around them to cool the process water. These unit types are commonly used when heat discharge is not as much of an issue. At GCB, we’re experts in both air- and water-cooled chillers and can determine which one is best for your facility.

Water-Cooled Chillers

Water-cooled chillers use water located in a separate cooling tower to condense or cool the refrigerant. Water chillers are highly efficient but often require more maintenance. We can personally sit down with you to go over upfront and operating costs for both air conditioning types.

Cooling Towers

As mentioned above, you’ll need a cooling tower to accompany your water-cooled HVAC system. Thankfully, GCB has the expertise you need to install, retrofit, rebuild or replace either of these two crucial components of your HVAC.

Air Handling Units

For larger facilities that need to cool more air, an air-handling unit may be the way to go. It consists of an outside system that reconditions and recirculates the air. While this requires some extra galvanized steel ductwork installation, a highly efficient, properly installed air handling unit has the power to condition a large commercial space.

Fan Coil Units

Fan coil units require no sheet metal ductwork, in contrast to the air handling units. Business owners who opt for this type of chiller installation typically have smaller spaces that need less cooling power than their air handling unit counterparts. This is perfect for small businesses looking to cool a big space but not an entire commercial building.

Packaged Rooftop Units

Packaged rooftop units contain multiple heating and cooling systems into one single unit and are most often placed somewhere outside of the commercial space. Packaged units are easy-to-install and much less invasive than a split system. GCB knows how to install both and why you should choose one or the other.

Split Systems

Split systems have two or more units in separate spaces, usually both in the facility and outside of it. While these do take up more space than a compact packed unit, they are more efficient, require less maintenance and can be customized however you’d like. GCB repairs and installs both unit types and provides a fast replacement whenever necessary.
